Materials & Workmanship

All lights complete with bulbs, wiring and stainless steel base with weather seal attached. Standard bases are secured by concealed metal screws. Optional 3" magnetic attachments available at an extra charge. Units with Status Areas and regular domes have separate lighting for each area, and separate wiring for each function. Units with one or more bubbles have separate, common wiring for the bubble(s). Replacement parts also available. Made in America since 1951.

Status Area

Some Models have separately lighted "Vacant" indicators on the dome. Note that some localities require that such an indicator be present and lighted when a cab has no fare. Always check with your local government before ordering top lights, as local ordinances control displays, colors and bubble colors. Most areas limit the use of red or blue bubble lights to official emergency vehicles.

Tattletale Bubbles

Some lights have separately lit "bubbles" or tattletales on top. Our tattletale bubbles are on a individual circuit so they can be wired to the meter to show when the cab is occupied. Some localities require that such an indicator be present and lighted when a cab has a fare. Always check with your local government before ordering top lights, as local ordinances control displays, colors and bubble colors. Many localities restrict the use of red or blue bubble lights to official emergency vehicles.

Customize Your Lighting

Taking any of the basic shapes above, we can custom craft a lighting solution for your fleet. Specify the color combination you want for the dome (white, orange, yellow or green). Choose from over 300 styles of fonts and specify your lettering in black, red, white, orange, yellow or green; with custom colors available on request. Tel-Tale Bubble Lights, sometimes referred to as "pimp" lights are available in amber, green or white. Send us your custom logo artwork or fonts for conversion into vinyl signage on your lighting. Logo. design and insignia can be scanned, edited, and cut in premium vinyl by computer. Black and white camera-ready art is best for scanning, but sometimes other types of artwork can be used.
