MR400 Taximeter

The MR400 is a taximeter unlike any others you will have seen. Its simple, uncluttered front panel and unparalleled user-friendliness conceal a powerful taxi management system. Ease of use and reliable components combine into a modern, stylish and compact unit.

PT72 Printer and CR20 Card Reader

The PT72 is a fast thermal line head printer for producing receipts and taximeter totals printout. For use with the Cygnus MR300, MR400, LTI400, MR320 Taximeters & soon the DH100 Datahead. Enables drivers to issue receipts and, with the optional CR20 card reader, allows them to swipe magnetic cards for credit card transactions, giving more flexibility for your business. They are both compatible with any Cygnus calendar controlled Taximeter.

CR20 Card Reader information
Enables drivers to accept payment by credit card.
Must be used in conjunction with the Cygnus PT72 printer.
When the reciept print button is pressured the driver is prompted to swipe a card. Once this is done the card details appear on the reciept along with a space for the customer to sign.
If the driver wishes to print multiple reciepts, this facility is available; one for the customer and one to keep for his records.
At present the CR20 Card Reader does not allow on-line transaction clearance. The facilities to do this must be arranged by the vehicle owner/driver.
