Materials & Workmanship

NTCS Taxi top lights are made from a single piece of extra-thick plastic and mounted on a strong rubber cushion. These toplights are available in stock lettering as well as any personalized lettering you may wish. Choose from our large selection of colors. All mounting equipment and instructions are included with every order. Replacement parts also available. Made in America since 1946.

Colors

Domes are available in white, cream, lemon yellow, medium yellow, orange and green. Lettering in black, white, yellow, red, green and blue. "VACANT" signs and tattletale bubbles are available in white, cream, lemon yellow, medium yellow, orange, amber, red, blue and green. Our tattletales and VACANT signs can be operated separately from the dome light or as a unit. Each tattletale and VACANT sign features an independent light circuit.

Status Area

Models 4bv and 7bv, 4v and 7v, F5 and G6 all have separately lighted "VACANT" indicators on the top of the dome. Note that some localities require that such an indicator be present and lighted when a cab has no fare. Always check with your local government before ordering top lights, as local ordinances control displays, colors and bubble colors. Most areas limit the use of red or blue bubble lights to official emergency vehicles.

Lettering

Lettering is available in the colors listed above. Standard lights come with front lettering. Additional rear lettering on the dome is available for an extra $5.00 per light and rear lettering on the VACANT sign for $2.00 per light.

Customize Your Lighting

Taking any of the basic shapes above, we can custom craft a lighting solution for your fleet. Specify the color combination you want for the dome. Use one of our standard legends or choose from our huge variety of fonts and specify your lettering with custom colors available on request. Tel-Tale Bubble Lights, sometimes referred to as "pimp" lights" in a variety of colors listed above. Send us your custom logo artwork or fonts for conversion into vinyl signage on your lighting. Logo design and insignia can be scanned, edited, and cut in premium vinyl by computer. Black and white camera-ready art is best for scanning, but sometimes other types of artwork can be used.
