With the non-power window shield, shown at the top right of this page, the
driver can slide the window side to side. The partition comes with a safety
pay box so the driver can still collect fares when the window is closed.

Holdups and injuries to drivers can be greatly reduced
by adding the protection of one of our taxicab partitions. Our shields are
made of 14 gauge steel and clear 3/8" GE Lexan plastic (used
in bulletproof windows and shielding). The lower, steel portion of each shield
is padded with thick foam rubber and covered with luxuriously textured supported
vinyl. Trim is available in black, navy blue, beige or brown. Partitions
can be installed by you in less than an hour.
With the power window shield, shown to the immediate
right, the driver can electrically raise and lower the window. The partition
comes with a safety pay box so the driver can still collect fares when the
window is closed.
